You might be eligible for Cal Competes tax credits. Don’t miss the January 23rd deadline!
⇒ Are you adding 2-10 new positions in 2017?
⇒ Are you buying buildings or production equipment?
⇒ Is $100,000 or more worth 3-4 hours of your time?
That’s the amount of tax credits California’s Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) is awarding to companies doing business in California who are committed to creating new jobs and investing in equipment and buildings.
⇒ You may be eligible to receive $5,000 – $20,000 in tax credits for every new hire if accepted into the program.
⇒ Businesses with revenue under $2MM can receive extra large incentives.
⇒ Businesses that buy buildings or production equipment can also receive extra large incentives.
If you are eligible – which is likely for many companies unaware of this state tax credit – you need to know that this is a competition. Your application does not guarantee an award.
